GREETINGS FROM THE TEXAS HILL COUNTRY!

GREETINGS FROM THE TEXAS HILL COUNTRY!

Hello Everyone.... I miss all of you and hope you will be able to come and visit sometime soon.  To give you a quick update, I am working in retailing for a non-profit agency who just opened a resale store in Kerrville and also helping out at the custom boot company here in Fredericksburg.  God has a way of changing our plans sometimes, and I am thankful for both "part-time"?!?!? jobs to meet expenses and help with the ministry needs.  It's beautiful here and I have to admit I don't miss the traffic at all.  There is plenty to do and everyone has been great.

There is still time to register for Passion Walk, October 5 & 6, in Kerrville.  It is only a one night retreat and will end on Saturday around 1:30 pm.  You still have plenty of time to shop and visit the area, plus it is Octoberfest here in Fredericksburg.  I think there is a festival here every weekend.  There are thousands of tourists who flock to the area.  I can understand why now that I live here.

So, think about coming up.  The weather should be great!   Also, our website is up and the 2008 Retreat dates are listed.  The brochures are also ready and will be mailed shortly.  Exciting things are happening for the Kingdom.  Pray about coming.

It has been so good to hear from many of you.  We must plan to stay in touch. I will be sending out a newsletter monthly.  The ministry does have current needs.  Here are some things you can pray about:

Consider being a prayer partner.  Not only does the ministry need the support, but I would like to have at least one person praying for our speakers and workshop leaders.

You can now make a financial donation online!  There is no gift too small.  I have a renewed appreciation for all financial gifts.  Remember $10.00 will buy 3 reams of paper or stamps, etc.  All necessary items needed to do ministry.  The ministry does not pay me any compensation, so your dollars are not going for "salaries".

We scholarship women from the Christian Women's Job Corps and will be adding women who want to attend from the Women's Shelter  also.  Pray about paying for one of these scholarships.  They don't need to stay at the hotel, so it is only for the conference fee.

Of course, all your prayers are greatly needed.  I believe I am where I am supposed to be.  Pray I will not get so busy that I miss opportunities God has put before me for ministry.  It is all about trust!

Sorry it has taken so long to get this newsletter out.  Hope God will allow our paths to cross again soon.  Look forward to hearing from you and hopefully seeing you in the near future.

With love and prayers to you all,

Chris Bynum
